D8.6 – Value Chain & Stakeholder Analysis

This report presents an analysis of the hydrogen value chain and stakeholder landscape relevant to the decarbonisation of industrial heating processes. It serves as a summary of the activities conducted within Work Package 8 of the HyInHeat project. Understanding the organisations, networks, and innovation ecosystems involved in hydrogen deployment is essential for effective communication, dissemination, exploitation, and future market uptake of project results.

The analysis combines value chain mapping, stakeholder identification, project landscape analysis, and innovation ecosystem assessment to identify the key actors influencing hydrogen adoption in energy-intensive industries. The report covers stakeholders across the entire value chain, including industrial end-users, technology providers, hydrogen suppliers, research organisations, policymakers, and industry associations. The findings support stakeholder engagement activities and help identify opportunities for future collaboration and exploitation beyond the project duration.
